Free Labor Film Screening Tonight

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The Busboys & Poets Bread & Roses Labor Series presents a free screening
of Brothers
on the Line tonight at 6p, with Q&A with director Sasha
Reuther. The film explores the legacy of the Reuther brothers, Walter, Roy, and
Victor, Sasha’s grandfather, and is narrated by Martin Sheen. Following the
brothers from their rise as shop-floor organizers in 1930s Detroit to leaders in
collective bargaining, civil rights, and international labor solidarity,
Brothers has been winning accolades from labor audiences across the
country.
