Labor On The Move: Solidarity Center's Bader-Blau Has Daughter; DC JWJ's Forester Goes National(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Solidarity Center Executive Director Shawna Bader-Blau gave birth to a baby girl September 19, reports Deputy Executive Director Kate Doherty. “Both mother and baby are well,” Doherty adds. Bader-Blau will be out on parental leave through January19, 2013; contact Doherty at kdoherty@solidaritycenter.org if you have Solidarity Center-related business in the meantime. The Solidarity Center is a non-profit organization set up by the AFL-CIO to assist workers around the world who are struggling to build democratic and independent trade unions.
