2012 DC Labor FilmFest Line-Up Released(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)From the inspirational We Are Wisconsin to the still-hilarious Office Space, from the drama of  BURN: One Year On The Front Lines To Save Detroit to the exuberance of musicals like Newsies and The Pajama Game, this year’s DC Labor FilmFest will appeal to area activists and movie-goers alike. Scheduled for October 11-18, the schedule for the 12th annual Labor FilmFest  is now available: pick up a copy of the American Film Institute’s Preview magazine in today’s Washington Post or click here for a full-color PDF (see page 9). In addition to the screenings at the AFI in Silver Spring, there will be free showings – including two films celebrating this year’s Woody Guthrie Centennial – at the AFL-CIO, other area unions and Busboys and Poets; click here for the complete schedule.
