AFL-CIO Election Phonebank Opens Monday

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The AFL-CIO’s 2012 election phone bank opens on Monday, September 17 and will run weekdays from 10a–6p through Election Day. “Bring your union’s campaign posters to decorate our walls!” says Kevin Byrne. Local and international unions can “adopt a shift” and schedule a day for your local or union at the phonebank  at AFL-CIO HQ at 16th and I NW.  “Folks who put in a 3-hour shift will get a voucher for a free lunch at the AFL-CIO cafeteria,” Byrne adds.
