IATSE Retiree Completes Camino de Santiago Walk(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)“When I finally took my first step on the actual Camino, on April 19th, in St Jean Pieds de Port, I abandoned all notions of self, determined to press on with an open mind,” says longtime IATSE 22 member, officer, and former Head of Props at the Kennedy Center’s Eisenhower Theater Larry Barrett (at right), who recently completed his walk ("IATSE 22 Retiree Blogging About Labor History & Walking 'The Way,'" UC 5/9/2012) along the fabled Camino de Santiago, the 40-day Christian pilgrimage across the breadth of Northern Spain.
