Labor on the Move: Charles Moore Wraps Up 40 Years at WTU 6

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)After serving six presidents of Washington Teachers Union Local 6 over the last four decades, Charles Moore is retiring. A Field Service Representative for Local 6 since the early 1970’s, Moore “has been a valuable asset and friend to all of us” says WTU President Nathan Saunders, adding that “his many years of experience will continue to be an inspiration to WTU’s field services department and other employees, as well as the numerous DC public school teachers he served.” – adapted from the WTU “Teachers’ Lounge” Blog
