BAC Apprentices Win Big in Vegas

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Four BAC Local 1 apprentices swept the 2012 Western States Apprenticeship
Contest last month in Las Vegas, NV. Local 1 apprentices Kyle Christopherson and
Eric Renney took 1st and 2nd place in the brick contest, Ivan Lindblad placed
2nd in the polymer clay central contest, and Yaroslav Gubarik took 3rd place in
the tile contest. In addition to celebrating these big wins, Local 1 took a
moment to “congratulate our training staff: Randy Johnson, Jim Charest, Lee
West and Terry Hays... [who] have brought this training program to a competitive
