Activists to City Council: (Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Anti-union, anti-DC resident lobbyist Roderic Woodson has been nominated to the city’s Water and Sewer Authority (WASA) Board of Directors. Citing Woodson's big-business allegiances and conflict of interest (DC COPE Report: Locals Mobilize Against Anti-Union Nominee to WASA Board, UC 7/5/2012) community members are calling on DC Councilmembers to stop his nomination at the anticipated Tuesday vote.
