Labor Night at the Nats

Labor Night at the Nats(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)When was the last time you heard about a true baseball double-header, when you buy one ticket and get to see both games?! That’s what’s on the schedule for Friday, August 3, the 6th annual Labor Night at the Nationals. Because of a rain-out earlier in the season, the Nats and Marlins will play two games starting at 4p on August 3, which means that $10 Labor Night at the Nats tickets will be good for BOTH games. “Not only that, but $1 of that goes to the Community Services Agency, which means you can have fun and do good at the same time,” says CSA Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy. Labor will be featured in an on-field presentation between games and those locals who buy 50 or more seats will have their names run on the scoreboard during the second game. Make checks out to “Community Services Agency” and send to CSA c/o Kathleen McKirchy, 888 16th Street, NW – Suite 520, Washington DC 20006. Email McKirchy at kmckirchy@dclaborarchives.org for more info. - Dan Duncan, President of NOVA Labor, which co-sponsors Labor Night at the Nats
