Burned Up about Torched Personnel Records

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)DC firefighters and police are burning mad about personnelrecords found in burning dumpsters last week. Firefighters responding to a fire in two dumpsters last Friday afternoon at the D.C. Fire Training Academy discovered some of their own personnel documents, as well as documents of their colleagues and of police officers, according to a report on WJLA. "Who knows whatever else was in those files,” IAFF Local 36 President Ed Smith said, “that's why we are requesting the inspector general to get to the bottom of this. We know the when and the where.
