Last Chance for DC-YTU Scholarship

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Today’s the last day for young women – or the “young at heart” – to apply for a scholarship from the DC Young Trade Unionists (YTU) to attend the UALE Northeast Summer School for Union Women. The program, which runs July 28 to August 2 at UMass Amherst, aims to “strengthen their [students’] knowledge and understanding of the U.S. labor movement, and to develop skills that will prepare them to be more active members and leaders.” Click here to apply now.
