Doubling the Fun at Labor Night at the Nats

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)There will be a rain-date game at 4:05pm on Friday, August 3, the same day as Labor Night at the Nats. Tickets for the 7:05pm official Labor Night game are good for the earlier game as well, “making this an even better deal,” says Community Services Agency (CSA) Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy. Plus, a portion of each $10 ticket goes to CSA’s Emergency Assistance Fund. Any union buying 50 or more tickets gets its name on the big screen. “Once you’re in the stadium,” notes McKirchy, “you’re in and can’t come and go.” Seats are generally in the top two tiers, from home plate around to the scoreboard on the first base side: make checks payable to the Community Services Agency and mail to 888 16th Street NW, Suite 520, DC 20006.  For info, 202-974-8221 or kmckirchy@dclaborarchives.org.
