Labor Photo: Fire Fighters 36 Welcomes Conference

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The DC Pipe and Drum Band – comprised of members of Fire Fighters Local 36 – performed during the opening ceremony of the 2012 IAFF Legislative Conference held March 25-29 at the Washington Hilton Hotel. Local 36 President Ed Smith (at left) welcomed 700 delegates from across the country who were in town to lobby on legislation affecting the jobs, economic security and safety of IAFF members.
