SEIU 400 Offers Members Classes

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)SEIU Local 400 takes education seriously. Not only do they represent the custodial staff for the Prince George’s County School System, but now they’re also offering classes for members themselves. March 3 was the kick-off of a new series of computer classes where Local 400 members learned how to access and send email, access information about benefits and leave requests online. The first class was “an overwhelming success,” reports Local 400 member Trent Holmes, and Local 400 is already recruiting members to sign up for the next one.
