AFSCME Members to Take On Annapolis

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Public employees in green union T-shirts with large, green “RESPECT, RIGHTS,
REVENUE” signs will rally tonight
in Annapolis. Hundreds of AFSCME Maryland members are expected to urge support
for legislation on a range of issues, from giving public employees the right to
vote for collective bargaining to legislation on "common‐sense caseloads" as
well as legislation to respect and protect vital public services by ending
budget cuts and closing tax loopholes for corporations and millionaires.
